Hello! We would like to welcome you and invite you to join us at the Annexcafe Sigtags Group :-)

Sigtags are small graphics designed to be used in emails, on websites, guest books etc.
At our group we design sigtags and offer them for anyone's personal use. You may add your name, a saying, anything you like, to the tags. If you are unfamiliar with graphics programs, we take requests and will add the name of your choice FOR you! If you like making sigtags or want to learn, please join us, we would love to showcase your work at our group and are happy to answer any questions you may have about sigtags.
There is no pressure here, you may post as many....or as few tags as you like, or none at all! We do not "require" anyone to make tags to be a member.
If you would just like to snag a few tags for yourself, and you would like us to personalize a particular one, just ask!
To learn more about our group please read our rules and faqs below. It should answer most questions you may have about the group.

This is a family oriented newsgroup. Please..no nudity, or obscene graphics, mildly suggestive IS ok, as long as it is in good taste. Please mark your post RATED if you are going to post a risqué or suggestive sigtag. This is a very grey area, what constitutes suggestive to some, may be considered X rated to others. Here is what we do NOT allow, maybe this will help :-)

Full nudity
Female nipples showing.
Male or female genitalia
Explicit poses
Language that would be bleeped out on cable TV
Explicit jokes or stories
Bestiality

In the interest of download time, please keep the kb's to 200 kb or less. I know that's sometimes hard to do, we ARE after all creative computer artists!..LOL..and its no biggie, but we ask that you don't overdo it on a regular basis :-)

We offer our sigtags freely here, to be taken and used on personal web sites, or email, adding your own name, or saying, etc., personalizing it for your use. All that we ask is that you do NOT take a tag, and post it at another sigtag group without the creators permission, place it on your web site for download, or add to any collection, just your basic graphics rules :-)

Posting a link to your home page is allowed, provided it is not a commercial site, no linking to sites for personal or commercial gain is allowed by owner of the server.

There will be no flaming in this newsgroup. If you have a disagreement with someone in the group, please take it to private email as there is no place for it on the group. Of course we are going to disagree from time to time, and as long as it stays civil and polite, that's fine, if it gets personal however, it really should be taken to a private level.
If you have a conflict or problem, that you feel cannot be resolved, please feel free to email the moderators.

NOW..what can be posted here?
Well, we are primarily a SIGTAG group, so mainly we share sigtags, THAT WE HAVE MADE. Please do not post someone else's work. You may also share anything that is used in making sigtags, including, presets, tubes, graphics, fonts, tutorial, links to sites that may of interest to other folks, masks, filters, just about anything, as long as it stays under 200kb. We are what is referred to as a "static" sigtag group, which means we do not post animated sigtags (using an animated sigtag as your personal signature on your posts is fine though)

COPYRIGHT RULES
Please keep in mind that there are artists, companies, etc. who do not want their creations used for any reason, whether it be for stationery or sigtags. Please observe their wishes and do not post their work here. They take this very seriously and WILL prosecute anyone that uses their art. We cannot allow the group to be shutdown and surely don't want anyone to be sued, so if we observe anyone using any of the mentioned artists, they will be deleted. If the person continues to use copyrighted graphics, they will be asked to leave the group. If you have any doubt as to the status of a particular artists graphics you are working with, feel free to email the moderators and we will be glad to help you, its a touchy subject lately with many artists and more may be added to the list as we hear of them.

Please take care in your selection of materials. We have a huge, and rapidly growing, library of generous and talented artists who DO graciously permit us to enjoy and share their creativity, and we ask you to focus your attention on them.
