Rules:

* all server rules apply.
* Personal Attacks - We realize that in a debate forum, emotions may run high and some form of
name calling might take place. Please be respectful.
* No gratuitous swearing. We ask that you please refrain from using the "F" word.
* formal debate is encouraged but not required.
* there may be adult content but pornography is not allowed, as per server rules.
* please refrain from religious preaching and/or proselytizing.



Guidelines for Debate:

* For the moment, we will attempt to follow the American style of debate, but this is not a rule, but
again, a guideline.
* Debates will be short, 200-500 words, with one Affirmative constructive speech, one Negative
constructive speech, and then a decision will be made as to the victor, by consensus, or majority
vote, as the case may be. This format is designed to simplify the initial bouts, till everyone is
comfortable enough to work with a more rigorous procedure.
*Please note that these specifications can be changed by the 'engaging' debaters in whatever fashion
they may choose, such as adding more constructive and/or rebuttal speeches, simply by agreeing to
whatever conditions they feel fit before they begin the debate. In other words, this is subject to
change in the future, and is subject to change on an individual basis as well.



Rules and guidelines may change as we grow.

Entering this group is no different than entering someone's home. C'mon in and have a good time.
Try to not get too rowdy, but don't feel stifled. It's all about having a good time, sharing ideas and
debating - respectfully.
