Your moderator Sharon would like to welcome
you to our new Internet "family" and hope you enjoy being part of our group! We know how much everyone hates
"rules" but please bear with us, because we do have a few and we prefer to call them "guidelines" pertaining to not
only the group, but also the Annexcafe Guidlines as well. Please make sure that you are aware of these as well as
the group guidelines. There is some very important copywrite information you need to know. ;-) If you have any
questions after reading this, please feel free to contact us!
This is an html friendly newsgroup :-) Feel free to
post your Black and White scans or creations here, but PLEASE, no scripts as it causes some folks computers to
lock up, etc.
This is a family oriented newsgroup. Please, NO
nudity, NO posting of Pornographic links of any kind or off color graphics, mildly suggestive is ok, as long as it is in
good taste. Please be sure to note in the SUBJECT line of your post whether or not your post contains adult
content with AC or something similar.
There is no limit to the filesize you may post, as
most people are on cable feel free to post larger files if you must, if any ask for smaller sizes please provide these
as well. Please note the server limit is 1MB.
We offer our Black & Whites freely here, to be
taken and colored, posted, added to websites or to be used in the creation/making of sigtags, tubes or other
graphics. All that we ask is that you do NOT take a B &W, and place it on your website for download, or add to any
collection, just your basic graphics rules :-) Please feel free to post your colorings next door at ColouringCreations.
this is a wonderful place to showcase your coloring talents.
The Owners of this server allow no linking to sites
for personal or commercial gain posting a link to your homepage is allowed, provided it is not a commercial
site.
There will be no flaming in this newsgroup. If you
have a disagreement with someone in the group, please take it to private e-mail, as there is no place for it on the
group. Of course we are going to disagree from time to time, and as long as it stays civil and polite, that's fine. If it
gets personal however, it really should be taken to a private level.
NOW on to what can be posted here?
Well, we are primarily a BLACK & WHITE group,
so mainly we share Black & Whites, THAT WE HAVE MADE or scanned. Please do not post someone else's work
unless you have their permission AND you state as such when you post the graphic. You may also share anything
that is used in making the B & W, including, presets, tubes, graphics, fonts, tutorial, links to sites that may of interest
to other folks, masks, filters, just about anything.
Please do not post any animations here. We are
strictly a Black & White Group.
*IMPORTANT* COPYRIGHT RULES
Please keep in mind that there are artists,
companies, etc. who do not want their creations used for ANY REASON, whether it be for coloring, graphics, tubes
or sigtags. Please observe their wishes and do not post their stuff here. They take this very seriously and WILL
prosecute anyone that uses their art. We cannot allow the group to be shutdown and surely don't want anyone to
be sued. So if we observe anyone using any of the mentioned artists, we will privately email you (We are all human
after all and know that no one would do this intentionally), if after being emailed, the person continues to use
copyrighted graphics, they will be asked to leave the group. If you have any doubt as to the status of a particular
artist's graphics you are working with. Feel free to email the moderators and we will be glad to help you. It's a
touchy subject lately with many artists and more may be added to the list as we hear of them. Some of the artists

Credit and provide links for sources. Get
permission before posting copyrighted material and post the permission with the work. Copies of permissions are to
be forwarded to the news administrator for permanent files. If you use someone else's art, music, or writing, credit
the creator and refer viewers to the site where you found your material. That way there is mutual benefit to all.
Respect copyrights; it is the artist's, musician's and author's right to determine the use of his or her work, and they
may limit or revoke their consents.
