WPEC stands for "Weekly Picture Editing
Contest". This group takes a weekly "Source Image" and edits it to
their hearts content. When satisfied with the result it is
posted to the newsgroup for everyone to view. In addition, "Freebie"
Images are furnished, to keep the editing skills in shape. Once a
week a private vote is taken to determine the winner for the week, and
lurkers as well as participants are welcome to vote on their
favorite. You may use any graphics program you wish to create your
masterpiece.
We keep this group strictly to pictures
only. HTML, sound, animation, etc are not allowed so you do not need
to be a Stationery or HTML wizard to participate.
